Frequently Asked Questions
Everything about checking your score, payments, and how your data is handled.
Enter your name, mobile number, and date of birth, give consent for a bureau pull, complete a one-time payment via Razorpay, and your score and full report are shown instantly. See our How It Works page for the full walkthrough.
No. Checking your own score is a "soft" enquiry and has no effect on your credit score, no matter how many times you check. Only "hard" enquiries — triggered when a lender checks your report for a loan or card application — can affect your score.
No. There's no password and no OTP. We identify you using your name, mobile number, and date of birth together, which also protects your account — all three must match on a return visit for us to recognize you as the same person.
The current price is shown on the payment step before you're charged anything, so there are no surprises. We use Razorpay for payment processing.
Yes. Payments are processed directly by Razorpay — we never see or store your card, UPI, or bank account details. Your payment is also independently verified on our server before your report is fetched, so you won't be charged twice for the same request.
If a payment succeeds but the report can't be generated due to a technical issue, it reconciles automatically in most cases. If your report doesn't appear shortly after payment, contact support with your registered mobile number and we'll sort it out — see our Refund Policy for details.
The credit bureau requires your PAN, gender, and date of birth to uniquely locate and retrieve your credit file — there's no way to pull a real bureau report without them. Your PAN is encrypted at rest and only ever shown back to you in masked form.
Your details are shared only with IDSPay (to run the bureau pull you've consented to) and Razorpay (to process your payment). We do not sell your personal information to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for the full details.
Your score and report are sourced directly from the credit bureau via IDSPay and shown as received. In rare cases it may differ slightly from a report pulled directly by a lender, so treat your official bureau report as the final word for any major decision — see our Disclaimer.
Yes. Every report you've pulled is available under My Reports in your dashboard, where you can view it inline or download a PDF copy at any time.
Every 3–6 months is a reasonable rhythm for most people, or just before you plan to apply for a major loan or credit card, so you have time to fix any issues beforehand.
